We're all working really hard and preparing to meet you all at the CreativeDegreeShow2012. We want what we do to be the best we can do and we want what you see to be as special as we can make it. With this in mind we're busy beavering away painting display boards, painting side-room walls and generally preparing the exhibition space. Things are moving at a fast pace in these days and weeks and we're all also finishing off our projects and tying up the loose ends so that what you experience is something truly special!

We all really hope you can come down to the exhibition and see what we've been up to but, in the meantime, here's some images of just what we're up to...

Please be sure to pop back to the blog to see what other departments have been up to and get ready for some awesome image sneak-peaks, artist biographies, more news and plenty of images to come too. We're getting closer by the day!

Just in from the Photography department at The University of Bolton we have another artist's sneak-peek and bio for your enjoyment and as a taster of what to expect from the exhibition. We hope you're getting really excited now about the opening of the Creative Degree Show 2012 from The University of Bolton and hope that you'll keep coming back to the blog to catch up on the goings on in the meantime. Enjoy!

I am a conceptual photographer who uses the studio and a large format camera to create fine art images with meanings. Purgatory is my interpretation of the 7 layers of Mount Purgatory as written in The Divine Comedy. As a Christian it seems harder to reach the ideal of Heaven, with the judgment of people at every small mistake we make.

Focusing on a person’s sin just puts us at the bottom of the Mount. I want people to remember for every sin there is a virtue, for every negative there is a positive.

Thanks, Anne, for this awesome sneak-peek of your work. If anyone would like to see more of Anne's work or find out more about Anne then please feel free to delve a little deeper and visit Anne's blog seen here:http://ahfphotography.weebly.com/

It's now Friday 9th June and we're officially a week away from the opening and fervidly working away with the final touches to the exhibition. Some of us have still to have our internal evaluations and assessments so we're preparing for this at the same time as making sure that we do all we can so that YOUR experience when you visit us in the best it can possibly be. Here's some more images of what we're up to with a week to go:
