Interior Design

We're all getting to the point of finalizing work and preparing the space in time to meet you all at the upcoming Creative Degree Show for 2012. It's proverbial last minute 'dotting of the i's and crossing off the t's' and we're super excited that we're coming towards the end of a very creative time in our lives and are about to enter a new phase of working in our chosen industries.

More and more now we're getting artist biographies and image sneak-peeks to put up here on the blog, and today is no exception. Please do come back for more exciting information, news and sneak-peeks in the coming couple of weeks before the show but in the meantime take a look below.

I believe the biggest opportunity to positively impact the life cycle and functional effectiveness of a building or an interior is at the outset of the design process.  A designer's professional aim should be to minimise 'guess work' in predicting the functional performance of the building whilst avoiding creating 'predictable' or unexciting designs. When we get it right, interior design and architecture can integrally and positively influence it's occupant's wellbeing and productivity.
My core values are driven by careful consideration of stakeholder needs and providing clients with options.  I believe that the best design solutions are only reached through collaboration and should illustrate societies current and emerging values.

In line with the rest of us, Interior Design are working feverishly to prepare for the opening night of the Creative Degree Show 2012. Students, staff and technicians are busy painting boards, tidying up spaces, hanging lights, finalizing any work that needs doing and generally beavering away in preparation for the big night. Here are some images detailing all the hard work that's going on in preparation to meet those of you who are able to come down to this exciting event at The University of Bolton:

Be sure to check back in this last couple of days leading up to the launch night of the exhibition and also after for images of the night.
